Anybody else been in this group therapy? I have noticed that my self harm has gone down since I started in this group, but the urges are stronger than ever before. I guess this shows some success of the group therapy. Anybody else have had good/bad experiences with this group therapy of DBT?

I was in DBT for a bit. Just finished up actually.

Anyway it would make sense that your urge to cut is stronger the less often you do it, just like a person quitting cigarettes feels a stronger urge to smoke when they put down their last one, or cut back. Know that you're moving forward in a good way

    best of luck
