    Look at her, she's beautiful
So graceful in her ways -
The sound of her is musical
    She brightens up each day
She makes you feel the love you lost
    She teaches you to fly
You'd die for her no matter the cost
Dry tears each time she cries...

But if you started peeling back
    The feathers of her soul
If she ever exposed her colours black
    Your blinded heart would know
The songbird that was ever singing
    Leaving echos soflty ringing
    Resonateing loveing thru you
Was never really singing to you -

    She doesn't sing for anyone
She doesn't know the words -
The notes that pour from deep within
    Aren't ever really heard...
    No one will ever understand
    That lonely little bird -
Try to hold her in your hand
    And hear the music blurred.

Clip her wings, she'll only find
A different way to try to fly
Corner her and you'll know why
    Caged songbirds always die.
