Ti amo I whispered in your ear,
While we were in Italy for the year.
But that was lost by a crowd’s cheer.

Taim i' ngra leat I said with all my heart,
But you were already starting to depart
And I followed you with a heavy heart.

    But yesterday,
    I said without ado.
I love you, I really do.

The last autumn leaf fell wearily,
Falling on your small blue beanie.
I stare at the leaf blankly,
It almost seemed it was attracted to beauty.

Your big green eyes seem the cause an eclipse
And a ghost of a smile dances across your lips,
But and I look down as I come to grips.

I look up but don’t see you there,
I was just staring into mid-air.
I trudge along and say a prayer,
Your death haunts me like a horrible nightmare.

Horrible meter in the second one, I know. Anyway, if you have read some of my other ones, you know the drill... COMMENT!!!

A very nice poem, I enjoy when you can mix beautiful languages in with heartfelt poetry. An excellently worded poem.

Sometimes the words do not seem to rhyme. That's because I may pronounciate words differently. Tomato, tomato.
