    I want to hurt myself really really bad, this feeling has been bothering more or less for days, I'm afraid I might slip soon, please help

    whats wrong nataria?
    why do you need to harm yourself?
    keep fighting it if you can i know the pull si has maybe you could take your mind off things by posting in the coffe house games?

    I don't know,I feel fat(ed) and stressed because of uni,I'm about to burst any moment,

    what are you studying at uni?
    i find the coffee house helpful and time goes quick
    have you been self harming long?

    I'm studying to become a teacher, right now it's social linguistics
    I have actually been able to kinda stop self harming, but i still get the urges and have slipped a few times, I started self harm when I was 13

    i guess teaching is very stressful to learn ,thats brave of you wanting to work with children though
    its great youve kinda stopped self harming i know about the slips though ,try to make more time betwwen the slips ie if you didnt cut for a month then slipped next time make it 2 months before you slip the next time 3 months

    Yes, I've always wanted to work with people, I like the social bit, and since I like language as well I figured teaching would suit me well

    Yes, i'll do my best to put more time between each slip, it is difficult

    it is difficult ,could you try some sticky tape over where you want to cut so its harder to do ,then when you want to take it off rip it off real quick for the pain rush?

    Have you tried writing these feelings down in a journal? I've never performed self-injury, but whenever I was in a similar moment of distress, I found that recording the thoughts that plagued me really helped reduce stress, especially when I would read them after. Perhaps it will work for you.

    Actually I have been very bad at writing journals, do you have any tip?

    Today was another day,evenings are worst but I'll try my best
