  1. in my hand sixteen little pills
    a vision of terminal sleep
    gradual decay of my will
the breath of eternity closer creeps
    it could all end here
    my unbearable torment and pain
in a flash this desire to yield the ghost is insincere
like a raging inundation through my brain
    flung down and trampled underfoot
    weeping for this newfound vigor
someday it will grow and take root
this day i emerged the victor
your love and spirit stayed my relentless mind
your smile and laugh made me strong
long i've resented everything, living so blind
sixteen little steps to undo all my wrongs
