    Another night i dread sleep
    Wake morning amidst green trees
Yet when i touch my face
    I no longer feel young
As all my youth had been
    Stolen while i slept

I like this very well, and can relate to it all too well.

  3. * * *

I know what it is to age
    even in sleep, in rest
but even in the hue of trees
    which shows the best
    whose green was once deep
lies the secret of the coming reap
This I can keep peace with
If only I could rememeber what lies beneath
    I once knew it
    my life slew it
But I trust it's still real
I cannot deny what I felt and feel
    even if lost....

Thank you for your most beautiful poem that speaks volumes...
