    So much for friendship
    Screams the silence
All alone, sitting by the broken shards of trust,
You wonder why you forgot last time

Same words, same outcome, same pain
Have I really got anyone else to blame?
    Shooting yourself in the heart
Then blaming the gun company for their advertising

You give your knives, so someone else can take a stab
Just in case you didn’t already know the agony
    “Take a joke”
    Take a hint, more like

    So tired of recurring themes
    Guilt, betrayal, death
    Bored of childish games
Which, of course, you always lose

Next time, just shoot me at hello…ally.

I like that. That's why I don't even try to get close. I know what to expect from solitude, and the uncertainty of a relationship is too big of a risk to me.
