    I am amazed
    at your strength
    so small
    so white
    I could
    I have
    taken a knife to you
    and cleaved you in half
    and yet broken
you still drag me into bed
    sweep me to sleep
    and hold me down.
    So small
I could lose you in a moment
    should my hand shake
    and yet you are strong
    mysteriously powerful
    Clark Kent secret
    so small
    so white
but you are such a thing
that you can save my life
    or should my will shake
should I take you into me
    piece by piece
    you could take my life.
    So small
    so white
    you have changed the way
    I look at the world
    with a bit of help
    you have restrained my hands
    realigned my mind.
    So small
    so white
what have you done to me?
I don’t know if I can forgive you
but I’m told I should thank you.
    I am amazed
    how something so miniscule
    so unassuming
    could be so huge.

:eek:hmy: Like all your works, amazing and gorgeous, a treat for the ears when read aloud, and a treat for the heart of the one for whom it was written!:eek:hmy:
