... taken a little out of context :hippy:

    Listen to Gandhi

    Freedom is not worth having,
it is better to be violent.
    Happiness is when
    what you say,
    what you do,
    is elusive and deceptive,
    delightful and distressing.
    Good is only temporary,
    it is momentary.
    I believe in equality for everyone;
    bow your heads.
    Lose faith in humanity,
    never forgive,
    love the sinner.

Ghandi wasn't Christian.... Ghandi has no god.

Ghandi understood that man has to change the world.
Ghandi understood that life is suffering.
If you want anything to change you better do it yourself.

um, i didn't mention god. and it's just a poem for a school assignment. we were supposed to borrow our lines from somewhere, so i cropped a bunch of quotes from Gandhi. The resulting poem obviously goes against what Gandhi stood for, that's the point.

An intriguing piece. Well done, well structured. I am afraid I didn't see the 'point' until you pointed it out. No pun intended.

this couldn't be more true
I realized it's not about saving the environment, stopping the war, any of that. All I have to do is work on myself. It's all I could ask of anyone else.

thee is a club at my school and that is the whole theme...

kind of like leading by example.

one thing is not using gay as a synonym for stupid....just as an example
its a good way to live your life. and you dont work yourself up to be disappointed when you try and change someone and it doesnt work.
