I would like to hear about any songs that anyone listens to that describes their suicidal feelings or emotional turmoil right now.

I'll start by linking you to one of the songs I feel best describes my feelings about my suicidal thoughts right now. This song is by Linkin Park, called No Roads Left

*Note - Please only those who are thinking about committing suicide post songs, others can post comments as they see fit

*Note's Note - I think this thread belongs in the right category, since this thread is about suicidal feelings, expressed through imaginative interpretation in songs, but i could be wrong, so admins or mods please move this thread as you see fit

    I love songs of suicide.

    Definitely check out...

Bayside - How To Fix Everything
Bright Eyes - Easy, Lucky, Free (about death not suicide but still)
I Hate Myself - Conversations With Dr. Suessicide
Saves the Day - This Is Not An Exit
Senses Fail - Let It Enfold You
Hawthorne Heights - Ohio Is For Lovers

Anything by Bright Eyes or Bayside is pretty depressing.

'End of All Hope' by Nightwish is probably the song that best sums up how I feel.

'2AM' by Iron Maiden and 'Fade to Black' by Metallica also do a very good job of capturing feelings of depression and suicide respectively.

I think all three are wonderful songs but I try not to listen to them unless I am at rock bottom because of the terrible feelings they invoke.

Why is it that when we feel bad we listen to things that make us feel worse or keep us in that dark place?

It's a music video which you can watch on YouTube.

Roses for dead by Funeral For a Friend.

This one is not encouraging suicide at all. This is a sad music video... Unforgettable... one..
But it is well made. It shows really well about loneliness..

    Spring - Rammstein

it's more about just doing it rather than feelings.

    eh, triggering, none the less.

We look for something to relate to; something to agree with. Something to set the scene for our misery. It can vary, though. I do it because there are songs that give words to many of the feelings I have.

I can't believe Marylin Manson hasn't been mentioned yet. By him we got:

    The Nobodies
Suicide is Painless - Not original, but a good rendition.
    The Man That You Fear

And also some instrumentals that are good:

    Nearer, My God, To Thee
    Barber's Adagio

I can't listen to happy songs when I am really down.
It helps me to outwardly express how I'm feeling rather than ignoring it, so it actually makes me feel better usually.

I listen to a lot of music with screaming. When I hear it I can say, "That's me." That's me right there screaming.

Wow that cover was awesome stinkymouse.

another one from me  -
(Of course I don't think they're actually not meaning to sing about suicide more just about death but with a little creative interpretation... it'll come out)

Linkin Park - Leave Out All The Rest

    LP is awesome :headbang:
