Has a highly inappropriate song come up at the worst time?

I got ambushed by Jordin Sparks "No Air" today, and all of a sudden was thinking about someone who meant a lot to me, who moved away so we had to break up...and started crying my eyes out grrr I've only just stopped!

Those who know the song/lyrics will understand.

I haven't been in a relationship in a while now, but may I just add that that is the LAST song you want to hear when you've just broken up with someone!!

I hate it so...but meh, can laugh at myself now for being bullied by a song *lol*

Anyone else feel a rage toward certain songs that seem to come on at the worst possible times in your life?

Oh another example, got a job interview in a hospital and my Dad handed the phone to me while I was playing music in my room.

    What's wrong with that?

    I was playing this:

I'm not sure whether to even show up they must think I'm evilly poking fun at their patients haha

I have got a lot of things by Fiona Apple associated with a bad time in my life, now. I used to like her, but I can't handle it anymore.

Kate Perry "I Kissed a Girl" - nothing wrong with kissing a girl, I just hate this song because they have played it for far too long on the radio stations: enough!

Anything with a depressing tone, death metal, any of that garbage.

I always play dragonforce when I'm in a bad mood.

Keane = good melody but really depressing music

Kate Bush "The Dreaming" = mad album, could potentially drive someone insane by listening to it loudly

King Crimson "Epitaph" = beautiful music but totally sad and depressing

Dario Argento's 70s movie soundtracks composed by Goblin, particularly Deep Red and Suspiria: to avoid at any cost and steer clear those who claim to love that "music"!! Frightnening insane, scary compositions...

    Diamanda Galas = total madness

    Lou Reed "Perfect Day"

    David Bowie "Quicksand"

    Oasis "Wonderwall"

Abba "The Winner Takes It All"

    Van Der Graaf Generator "Refugees"

    Aphrodite's Child "Rain & Tears"

    U2 "New Year's Day"

    U2 "The Unforgettable Fire"

    Harry Nilsson "Without You"

    Eric Carmen "All By Myself"

Elton John "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"

    John Lennon "Mind Games"

    Depeche Mode "Leave in Silence"

    The Organ "Brother"

    Carpenters "Close To You"

Siouxsie & The Banshees "Happy House"
