I've been told I have a severe personaility disorder, and have been referred to Branchly Unit (spelling), I don't understand what any of these means. does this mean I'm dangerous to others? that I could harm someone? Please I don't understand.

Can you ask the people who will be treating you at the unit what it means... it could mean a lot of different things... i have MPD and i am not thought to be dangerous.. my personality just switches to a younger age...

Ask for them to explain it to you hunni...

i just looked in my DSM, SPD could be schizoid personality disorder or schizotypal personality disorder.

    hopes that helps
