Ok this question isn't about what you believe, you can believe in God, Jesus, Thor or giant pink elephants, it doesn't matter for the purposes of this thread. But do you think people are generally better off with a Spiritual side? I mean I'm not very religious myself but it meant an awful lot to me when I was, and I do often really envy religious people. But then again there is the negative side, some people see themselves as failing to live up to the ideals of their religion, as being sinners or evil people, or maybe others of their religion make them feel bad because they don't conform or behave in 'unacceptable ways'. People like Richard Dawkins, would like to see the end of religion, but is that a good thing, because maybe even if it is all untrue, the benefits of believing it means that it's worth keeping around?
