I've been a straightedge my whole life and I will continue to do so in the future. One of the biggest reasons I am straightedge is because I've seen the damage drugs have caused my family and friends.

    Good on you.

Glad to see you recognise alcohol is a drug also - straight-edgers - I know some - so they won't touch anything that can make them high.

A lot of people I know who drink will frown at other drugs.

    Kind of ironic really.

Your take a drug which makes you lose judgement - and whilst in the gutter - point an accusing finger up at someone a little high.

Well - I hope I can be straight edge again actually.

But - I guess I'll always be an occasional user of things.

but at least I'm honest about it - there's no hard drugs in my stash box so no need to be secretive about it.

sure - I like a little crack - a wee bit in the morning - makes me feel 'nice' before church and shoplifting - I joke!

If life is good - drugs or beer won't always make it better.

    Good luck in your sobriety.
