Stress itself makes you ugly

I’ve read numerous studies lately which document that psychological stress has consequences on our body - lowered immune system, poor skin health, reduced muscle & bone mass, glucose dystegulation, and more.

Basically this means if we’re under great stress, it makes us look not so great - which means for those of us who get bothered by our appearance, it’s going to lead to greater stress which exacerbates things even further and possibly create a vicious cycle.

So stress management is important not just for our emotional health, but also our appearance.

Yes you are quite right about that as well...if I'm feeling really stressed I will admit I just look in the mirror at the beginning of the day to deal with my hair and then don't look again if I can help it...think that's also why treating ourselves to bubble baths/sauna/hot tubs etc. is so important as that will help to de-stress a bit and feel better afterwards...
