Study into the link between sexual abuse and suicide

    Heh, the picture is the view i had out my kitchen window in first year... odd how this study was related to my uni :dry:

    I think they should take this study into account when sentancing rapists, it should be classed as attemptive murder even if the criminal had no intention of killing :mad:

    Okay, but if increasing the lielihood of "contemplating suicide" should be attempted murder then thats every bully, everyone who sent a bill someone couldn't pay, every person who dumped their partner, everyone with a history of depression for having kids who later develop it too etc. etc. ad infinitum.

    Yes i agree all of those can add, but only one of those is really illegal... and only slightly and it doesn't have as much of a traumatising impact.

    Maybe it should be... sorry I only added the second bit on a ranting whim.
