I wish I'd seen this sooner.

My relationships have been almost entirely in the instant messaging domain. I KNOW what you are going through. I've found that getting drunk beforehand helps a lot... But cutting after is likely not the best idea, and it's perhaps not suitable material for making a game out of.

That sounds like a fixed game, my friend. I often have my phone turned off and thereby get messages hours after they're sent. Why not give her a call instead?
