That email

Had to send some hard emails today. Both to colleagues. They were coming at me with random anger and frustration. I’ve never worked in an environment where people sent unpolished emails. No punctuation or salutation. All lowercase. Add on top of that an attitude. Well.... I let them know.... NEVER ME AND NOT TODAY!

One apologized the other ignored me.

Is it weird that I don’t have bad feelings about it? Like, they deserved it as they write anything to anyone. Not caring.

Well, they’ll care with me! Choose your words carefully.

Speaking as someone who has had to work hard to overcome my fear of confrontation I think it's fine that you don't have bad feelings about it :) I think civility is ideal, but if someone is coming at you with anger then you have every right to stand up to that without feeling bad

I think, quite honestly, this is just a part of my premenopause and getting old. I’ve officially reached the don’t give a damn phase. I’ve lived more than half my life, so what.

Ahhhhhh, getting old.
