    the awakening

time it passes, oh so slow

the pain inside me you'll never know

the thoughts are strong, the thoughts are there

much too dark for me to share

i look distant, i look pail

my life is such an unhappy tale

    i want to end it

    i want to die

    i want to suffer

    i wonder why

    i keep holding back

    not letting go

but the fear and the thoughts

    they are starting to show

my face does not look right

    i'm starting to scream

    i'm shaking like crazy

    what does this mean?

    a life it's so broken

    shattered like glass

    the future's not real

and the pain is the past

    when will it end,

    when can i break free?

when will this torment, be over for me

but a sudden change.. what happened there?

happy thoughts taking the place of despair

    a will to survive

    a will to live

    a will to mend

    and a will to forgive

    it happens so fast

    like trains on a track

    1 moment it's forward,

    next moment, it's back

    the emotions run freely

    up, and then down

    1 minit, i'm flying

    next, on the ground

when i'm down i'm so useless

    pathetic and weak

    no energy to move

    no energy to speak

but when i'm up it's so diffrent

    bad thoughts being taken

    now's the time to relive,

    the time to awaken
