I am considering a move. I live in the U.S., in Pennsylvania. I want to move to a place where they have strong social support, good mental hospitals, depression meetings. Maybe I should move into a mental hospital, LOL. Just kidding. I'd like to move down south, maybe North Carolina. I thought about California but that's too far. But if both places have such resources for my depressive condition, I'll think about it.

Of course you can't just waltz in but if you can get a job lined up or at least guarantee you'll get one it's possible you could get into Canada as a permanent resident - that status confers the benefits of healthcare.

Of course it could be more hassle then it's worth.

Even if you stay in country I'd recommend moving into a city if you can. More people means more healthcare and more support groups.
