I just wanted to share this with everyone. I'm sure alot of us have some sort of a connection with self injury. This is a wonderful idea that I just found. I am trying to quit self harming after a long struggle with various forms of self harm. I think this site is a big help to those that are trying to stop.

    Their website:

    Facebook group:!/group.php?gid=8530282758&v=info

For any one and every one affected by self injury. For those that don't self injure you can do this too to show your support.

    The Rules are:
    1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly where you want to cut.
    2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
    3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.
    4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you've killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.
    5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.
    6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.
    7. Even if you don't cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help.

Hugs and love to all! <3

Interesting idea... Maybe it could also be expanded to include other things? I just know a lot of guys wouldn't want to draw butterflies all over themselves. It is something that could work though...

Hmm....I'd be willing to do this. Of course, people will wonder why I'm drawing a bunch of butterflies on my skin, but whatever. i draw on myself all the time anyway.
