    Stained fabric woven loosely together
    Worn thin before the start
Its from this cloth I was cut so many years ago
    The pattern too was flawed
Handed down from one to the next
    A line of broken men
Led to my mold and to myself
    Equally weathered are the two
As I sit here draped in misery the truth will be done
I cannot run, I cannot hide
And I'll never escape the truth
    I am broken
    And worthless too

How poignant...hopefully you will find it is also a quilt from which you can create many good things...J

The cloth I was cut from is dark and nordic, with muted colors...
