    The skies were blue
    And I thought
How lucky I was to know you
    But I lost
What usually serves to warn me
    Now tossed
    I'm stumbling along forlornly
    I've paid
The debts I stole to gain
    I'm ashamed
    The loss
    The hurt
    The pain
    Now I sit
    Heavy with weight
    The blame
    Its the cost
Of love thats never worth it.

Yeah...Im like cancer, I never really go away.

If you can pardon such a crude comparison I just feel that dry at the moment

I don't think you're like cancer at all. And I love your poem, as do I all your writings. Fantastic!!  Your talent never goes away, just keeps getting better and better.
