    “The Devil Stole my Soul”

    He crept up to me
    Like a reptilian thief
    Intent on stealing
    My very soul

    I was distracted
    Drinking from my chalice
    Of Bitterness

    Not knowing the price
    For self-depravation
    And corruption
    The price for complacence

    It was too late
    When I realized
    There was no turning back

The Devil had pilfered my soul
Devouring it like a famished lion
I turned to look at my thief

    A hungry, savage face
    Full of decay and petulance
    Stared back and I realized
    It was me

Welcome myself, to Hell. In other words, life without a soul.

No, it's not nice. It's a sickening regurgitation of this pathetic world. I hate myself for writing this "poetry," but I can't stop...
