The sun has set on its feeding ground, It awakes with a hunger for my blood. Opening the door to its darkened tomb, Into the urban land searching for food. Seeking my sorrow for thirsts fill, Stalking bloods scent and urban kill. Narrowing in on senses source, Following depressions true course. In the distance stands my lone soul, Covert intrusion It hears my bloods flow. Silently approaching its meal is eminent, I don’t even know my life at and end. Violently It grabs me with unnatural strength, My fear is immediate and cries of terror begin. Its fangs sink in tearing at my skin, Damned soul of mine now drains in sin. Struggles of self preservation have begun to cease, Life force fades by means of its feast. Slowly my knees weaken trembling I fall, Now It takes everything and consumes all. An empty shell I lay alone and broken, Dieing in silence all off me it has taken. Another days sustenance has been stolen, By the theft of hope from me the fallen.
