  1. The Final Resolution

    Oh covetous realm
    The bed calls nightly, familiar and well
    after one too many falls of spirit,
    just like every other day,
    and within each one more drink is not enough
    to ease the constant worry away
    Yet sleep is but a cruel trick;
    Brings peace
    But awakening you sick
    to merely another day,
    of the same reality
    that has caused your soul to flee
    There is no refuge
    long nor deep enough you see;
    It’s stronger stuff
    that’s needed
    to bury all this pain…
    Afraid of the solution
    The final resolution

    Fantastic...though painful to read...It's not a "solution" though, i hope you can remember that, though its hard. :hug:

    Blueberry is spot on - your "final resolution" is not a solution, and hope you're just writing this to vent these ideas. Please keep them as thoughts and don't, repeat DON'T let them become actions!
