    The Forest

I strain to see through the forest
It binds me, keeps me poorest.
I fear I will not depart, and be freed
Instead be caught, a servant to this mighty stead.
The only hope I see is in the arms of the Keres.
Their beauty enhancing, their call mesmerizing
Their promises of release excite my ears.
Will I fall into their grasp? Will I finally be free?
Or will I be trapped? With no other choice…

This poem is very... Misticy? Mystical, that's the word. Oh and where did you get the name Keres from? Sounds... Exotic

The Keres are Greek Myths. They represent death. The forest represents depression. Basically this is for when you're feeling so down, that dying seems like the only hope for freedom.
