This is post 1,000,074, so I missed it by 74
It was about 6:15 EST
Wooooooooooooooooot!!!! Someone thanks lynn!
Sorry...but according to the counter I see it is : 918,692 currently...J
Is my post, and the numbering increments with each new post. Perhaps yours doesn't count deleted posts and merely counts existing ones?
You raise a good point: I am not sure of that and could not find the count...it would be nice to think that your number is correct because it does tell the impact of SF...the way the number would make sense is if the spam is also included (a part of deleted posts)...of 'genuine' posts about 10 are deleted at the current time per week (rough estimate)...I truly do not know the spam/trolls...that is where the differential would be...again, if we did have 1 million that is great news as I was just thinking about this last night and wondering when it would happen...if my count would have been accurate, I would have wanted a party ... sorry we missed it
Haha! If it wasn't for her post count, we'd have a LOT of work ahead of us to reach a million!!
i would also like to thx lynn for her tireless effort at posting on sf, we wouldnt have made it with out you
There's also user-deleted posts, Sadeyes. Unfortunately, I noticed that the millionth post (according to the URL counter) isn't a happy one, being found in loved and lost.
Yes, Lynn has done wonders. More than 5% of all posts!
But she still found support on the million-th...which may actually be a true testimony to the site...J
It's annoying me that it's not showing me the right number! We need to keep posting and posting until it shows a million for everyone!
I'm reporting you for being offensive.
Lol good luck with that.
Where can i see the post count anyway..
I don't know if it's in the same place for everyone else, but I'm seeing it at the bottom, under the list of members online. It says SF Statistics, and it's in the line of text under that. Not sure that made any sense though, sorry!
Yea, post 900,0000 something not a million. where did you get the million?
OK what the hell, why are some people seeing a million and others seeing 900,000-something or other?
The URL of a post is its numerical position in the number of posts. http://www.suicideforum.com/showthread.php?p=1000134#post1000134 is Wildcherry's post right above mine. When a post is deleted that number is not reused, but the number of total posts does decrease. This is why there is a discrepancy.
We're way off! X3
