I'm sure some of you have watched the Movie and I've got to say it has to be one of the most misleading movies for children I have ever seen.

Now the whole plot of the movie is this baby deer was with it's mom and all of a sudden some hunters come in and blaze about 1,000 shots in a herd of 10,000 bazillion deer running as this horrific sounding music plays.

Now I wouldn't agree with the story either way,but I have no problem with peoples opinions. But when you really overdue it and make it look like some random shooting masacare I start having my problems.

First of all a little baby deer isn't going to become depressed and start crying when it's mom dies.

Second you can't just start blazing shots at have a limit.

Third White tail deer don't herd into sone massive 10,000 deer groups

I mean I understand it is a movie and all,but the director obviously has something agaisnt hunting.

I don't even remember the movie Bambi even though I was teased and called 'ambybambi' for years as a child. Why? Hell if I knew...

Disney movies are very rarely accurate about *anything* at all.
Perhaps the movements of people and animals the way they are animated are fairly realistic because the art team studies the movements directly from real life - but that's pretty much the only thing that is semi-realistic about Disney movies.

They're meant for children who don't know any better yet. It's fantasy- what else can be said?
I love Disney movies and cartoon movies in general~ even though they can be wildly unrealistic; that's what makes them fun, I guess...
...although a story about a baby deer who loses it's mother doesn't sound all that fun.
    ...maybe if you're sadistic?
woot! Kill the deer! All of them! The baby too!! bwahahaha!!
later: ...what the crap is this? he finds his 'daddy'? Dammit! Kill him too!!!

Seriously though, I like the movie, even though I see how it could be disturbing.
