    The Pain

Why would I do this to myself
    The flickering behind my eyes
Burning furiously as I begin to die
I have no reason to lie
    The pain ceases to subside
    This could be it
    The ever blinding light
    Pounding deep within me
I shut my eyes with all my might
    And drift within my mind
As if it were the sea
All the bumps along the flowing way
    Jagged shards throughout the decay
    That floats within me

This one is about the migraines I experience.
I can feel one coming on right now and it's going to be torture.
There was a time when no one believed I was actually having these because there was nothing physically wrong with me and none of the medication would help.
So I usually just try to sleep through them if I'm able to.

    Aloha Mike!

I can't begin to imagine what migraines are like; I'm glad they haven't been as often lately. Oh, and Go Amy Lee! I see that you were listening to one of their new songs in the "Coffee House" thread. :)

Cheers, and big thumbs up, as usual! Good luck on your test tomorrow!

I can definitely share your pain (no pun intended) when it comes to migraines! I've suffered from them the last 15 odd years and there is nothing worse than suffering the blinding pain that can only be fought by waiting it out.
I am not sure what medication yiu have available to you there, but one of the prescriptions that helps me a lot with them is called Panadeine Forte - basically a very, very, very, very, very strong paracetamol and codeine drug.

All the best to you in the hours ahead and have a little :bubbles: to keep you company and hopefully soothe the worst of it!
