because the light in your eyes has died.
I feel something coming...I taste it in the wind,
that after this we will never be the same.

Your eyes go glassy, all dark and bleak,
warning me of things to come.

Huddled alone, you look so broken,
and so cold, as you slowly show
these wounds that time won't heal.

The scars on your arms match mine,
the pain's, still real, but the marks...
    are fading.

Out of your coat you draw a long green box..
Tattered and worn, bleached by the sun...
the cloth, stained black by the blood we've spilled.

Your cracked lips flash me a smile as I hand
you the key to our destiny.

It's in our blood, be this way.

You open the box and hand me a razor
I feel like I'm drowning; in that familiar feeling
and I know all I have to do, to be with you...

Is let go...and end the pain...
