the runs - is it due to eating again?

    I have had the runs today, I started eating again yesterday and today I have been throwing up and had the major runs. Could this be due to the food I started eatinng again?

    I have never had so much water pass out of my body before!!!!

    I see no one has responded to your posting. I'm sorry, this is a major health issue. First thing you should do is to drink water. You are probably not thirsty but that is an indicator of dehydration. Start slowly at first and the thirst will come back. Water will also help your digestive system. Start back to eating slowly as well. Whole wheat bread, leafy green veggies, protein like maybe an egg or some ham. Be careful if you have been fasting very long you may need to see a doctor. Take care.

  3. drink water..dont gulp it sip it.. this will will help with dehydration

    digestive biscuits and dry toast help dont eat too heavily or too fast.. drink the orange lucozade it helps to settle things in your tummy

    I had the runs again last night, a few hours after eating. Maybe I ate too much. I had major stomach cramps that I could feel right under my ribs and cramps in my legs. I was moaning in pain, and felt really hot then got really cold. Not eating today.

    Sorry you are not feeling so well. :sad:I'm afraid just not eating is not the answer. If it hurts that bad to put food in your tummy you probably should be seeing a doctor. Are you drinking fluids? Water, tea, something?

    try mixing some acacia fiber with something pleasant. you like orange juice?
    I hate it, too many carbs. but that's just me. I like V-8 and a lot of
    people hate that....

    the runs could mean a lot of things. are you drinking firewater with your
    current diet? that is a major runs trigger.

    ok, try some canned pears, light syrup and small curd cottage cheese.

    also, study up on herbs and what herbs would be best for you.

    It is to your benefit to go and get those blood tests done. Your p-doc wants to know if you arestill healthy despite your fasting.
