    Across the stormy sea
    An angel spoke to me.
    You never will abide
    The rising of the tide.
    Across that vast expanse
    I heard a fish purchance.
    You never will be free
Til you take a bite from me.

    Stormy sea part two
    Upon a golden shore
    I decided to explore.
    And sang a merry song
    as I walked along.
I knew the beach was good
    So collected all I could.
But as I dwelt in peace
    Fate reviewed my lease.
    Clouds appeared above
    And took away my love.
The waves crashed next to me
And swept me out to sea.
    I looked into the deep.
    And gently did I weep.
And now where were my dreams
For all I hear are screams.

    The stormy sea part three
The screams ripped through my head
And filled my heart with dread.
Then a shark I could not see
Swam right up close to me.
With a grin so full of spite
He told me of my plight.
    "The screams will not subside
    In that I can confide".
    And so I sank away
    And rued that dreadful day
In the morng in my room
By night I'd sealed my doom.

    I often heard it said
The sea will eat the dead.
    And funny as it seems
I heard this in my dreams.
And so I taste the salt
The fights that I have fought.
    And feel the crashing waves
    Make bodies into slaves.
The sky it is now gone
And the deep it calls me on.
But theres something else I hear
    Though its far from clear.
It binds around like a rope
And I think it may be hope.
    It not the strongest kind
But its the best that I could find.
And I know it may not hold
But that will yet be told.

    Part 5
The sea it pulled and the rope held tight
And the sun it slipped right out of sight.
The sea was green, thick with weeds
And not the raft that the sailor needs.
Arms flayed left, legs kicked right
And the darkness called with all its might.
The rope soon slipped and broke away
And death seemed close on that Autumn day.

    Part seven
    Down below, an armchair stood
    With giant white cushions
    And a frame of wood.
Bathed in light, a joy to see
And next to it a white sette.
Come on down the armchair said
Come on down and join the dead.
And to the hurting tortured mind
It seemed there might be peace to find.
So flaying arms laid quite still
And lungs with water soon did fill.
But from the shore a voice was heard
A mile away which seems absurd.

    to be contiued

    part eight
And from the shore I head a voice
It told me that I had a choice.
Sink right down into that big arm chair
Or give life a go if your dare.
"Well" I said, and I said it well
How would you cope, please do tell?
How would you manage in my stead
With seven loud noises in your head?
Its constant torture, thats for sure.
I might have managed if it was only four.
Well said the voice in gentle lilt
The answer is make a quilt.
Huh I said that seems quite mad
I cant make a quilt Im far too sad.

    Part nine
Make a quilt?, I said now frowning.
But Im out at sea and damn I'm drowning.
"Make a quilt", the voice repeated
"You made one once, but then you cheated".
And so I saw a patch appear
I was under water but it seemed quite clear.
Black and white and gold right through
And it looked a lot like my wee nephew.

    Part ten (a bit ropey)
    Blue, green, red and yella.
Brian with his dog, its name is Bella.
    White, green, pink and blue
Petal in Ireland making the stew.
And my purple sister from across the sea
Who from her own darkness reached out a hand to me.
Na right down there in Aus
Made me laugh with the tale of her coz.
Freya, Koji, JX, Ken, and Marie
Each of them was kind to me.

T be continued with more names
