    The Terminus of Sin

Gaze into that portal of damnation intently
    And you might realize
It’s your mind’s eye staring back
    Like some half-submerged crocodile
    Hungrily awaiting a king’s feast

To that end, you’ve seen the stairway down
    You’ve gone around
    Without a sound
Past the gates of a surreal thought prison

This is the terminus of sin
    A great lake traversed
    An overlord enemy
    Once deified
    Now simply defied

    White-shrouded misery
    is simply
    Blown away
    Led astray
To the ends of the earth

thanks least. This was inspired by music, usually when I write my best poetry.
