    stranger with rosary
    paces streets ghostly
    rubbing beads mostly

    scared
    beyond
    all fright

    insanity
    tragedy
    and then ~

    I heard the word
    that you were dead
    soiled pants and
    pummelled head

    an act of goodwill
    upon castle hill?
    or did your heart
    simply limply so
    simply stand still?

    so very weary
    of the tens of
    thousands of
    unholy voices
    hollering wholly
    harrowing choices
    harassing noises
    importunate voices
    in devil skin poses
    and zombie comas

    hallucinations
    trompe l’oeil
    feral incantations
    auditory decoy

I will miss you in the street
    plastic bags tied for feet

  2. The hell (and loss) you describe so well (and you do) is one where you have walked many miles in someone else's shoes.
It breaks my heart, but I've tried to tread in the same places,
    other than my own,
    which have also been hard.

Your expression is one of infinite compassion....*sigh*

    Dearest Lentil;

Your talent has lost nothing during your absence from here. I wish happiness for you, but failing that, I wish you some measure of peace and relief from your inner demons. I've missed you so. Glad you're back.

It is the first thing I have written in an age.

It is not very good, but I guess it is a start.

Many thanks to the both of you.

I think it is good, very good indeed! But then, goodness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

    love always,
