I wrote this awhile back.. I believe that decent writing should be understood in their own way by the reader... However, I'll post the reason for each point that I made here...

Fields of flowers the greenest grass you've ever seen
to the touch you feel a lifetime of emotion
one tree stands alone in the field always blooming
    the perfect tree
the sound of trumpets ring in my ears
a sudden burst of fear grips me
    the flowers catch a blaze
and starts moving toward the tree
    the tree is burning
    and then an earthquake
you can hear and see the ground breaking
as is falls upward toward the sky
only I am left behind in space
falling for like seems like an eternity
as I fall my mind sleeps
but I don't dream only feel
    every emotion of my life
bottled up into that moment that seems never ending
but I don't remember my life, only feel it

Here I discuss what I feel we started out as... Perfect, full of life..
Wanting to learn, and perfectly content with what nature gave us...
As a child we are pure, and unafflicted by the ravages of the world.

2.the sound of trumpets ring in my ears
a sudden burst of fear grips me
    the flowers catch a blaze
and starts moving toward the tree
    the tree is burning

This is describing the awakening of our youth, when we realize this world
isn't a perfect place, and that bad things happen to us all.. We're scared
because we've never seen this destruction, we've never knew hatred...
Then suddenly, as the tree, even we get caught up in the flames..

    3.and then an earthquake
you can hear and see the ground breaking
as is falls upward toward the sky
only I am left behind in space

This is where we realize that our actions have consequences, and see the people
of the world we hurt keep going, while we live in our own regrets

4.falling for like seems like an eternity
as I fall my mind sleeps
but I don't dream only feel
    every emotion of my life
bottled up into that moment that seems never ending

Now reality ceases to be real, but also not a dream... It's like standing in a single
spot watching yourself do the things that society expects, but not what your heart
wants you to do... Yet your heart is bursting out trying to tell you to live, but
the things around you won't allow it.

5.but I don't remember my life, only feel it

Here comes death... Doing what is expected of you your whole life... Living in
a state of mental isolation... Only in youth have you experienced what is real in
life, yet this has been long forgotten... All you feel now is your heart still longing
for the life you should have lived.

Eh, I've never claimed to be a writer, it's just more of emotions I felt that I put down onto paper, that I tried to make metaphoric, heh..
