    I live a life,
    Perhaps it is broken,
Perhaps it is far from perfect,
Yet still I seem to believe it is good.
Because good is as one sees it,
A life filled with pretty colours and rainbows?
Sure it sounds energetic and fun,
But hell, I'm used to burnt trees and cracks in the road.
That's what I call the beauty of my life.

    Some people,
    They hardly understand,
Because they live in a veil,
They see what they're taught to see.
When they see something strange and new,
It's natural reaction to be repelled.
    They see us as imperfection,
    They see us as unworthy,
Perhaps even inferior to their lives.

But it's nothing new to me.
    I've seen it all,
But there's nothing called a perfect life.
    Cause I've seen it all.

    What if they,
    Could see and understand?
    Would they bring themselves down,
To our level to breathe our air?
Would they try to help up us back up,
    Out of our 'crummy' lives?
Even if they tried I think I'd refuse,
Because I'm happier knowing I'm worse off.
It's not something they'd understand though.

So yeah, it's not really a poem, more of like a stream of conciousness? I dunno.. XD

i like it. i really do. i think it shows that you want people to open their eyes, and actually look upon us, not as creatures, but as humans, such as they are, and know they havent helped any, but its too late now. this poem should be written onmy forehead  thanks soo much
