Not neccesarily your favourite films, but the films that make you think, the films that stay with you forever and really speak to you

    10. Show me love Really sums up teenage crushes

    9. 8 Mile Maybe just cos I'm a huge Eminem fan, but it's a great film

    1. Donnie Darko Yeah, I know it's a cliche to love this film, but it is just so good. It opens my mind, which is always a good thing. And I'm watching it right now!

    My top ten:

    10) Monty Python & The Holy Grail - One of the funniest films ever made.

    9) Apocalypse Now - Harrowing. I saw it when I was much too young to see a film like this.

    8) The Ruling Class - One of Peter O'Toole's best performances that nobody knows about.

    7) El Topo - The strangest film ever made.

    6) The Great Race - A sprawling comedy with Jack Lemmon's funniest performance.

    5) The Maltese Falcon - I could literally watch this movie over and over again.

    4) Nashville - Robert Altman was my favorite director and this was his greatest film.

    3) Vertigo - Hitchcock's masterpiece. It's beautiful and creepy.

    2) The Wizard Of Oz - I'll never tire of how happy this picture still makes me.

    1) 2001: A Space Odyssey - The greatest film ever made.

So, after a lot of thought..I have been unsuccessful in narrowing it down to 10, and also in finding reasons that don't turn into bloody essays..so I'm going to just post them before I go insane..

And before anyone asks, yes i have a strange obsession with Almodovar, i think i did well personally to limit it to only 3 in the top 11

And they're not in order, except for no. 1
