what do you do, when you wake up,
and you dont know where you are?
when the world is lost, when time's missing,
and warmth seems to be so far..

you reach out to the wall, touch what binds you
but you cant feel it, feel yourself, feel around,
and you curl up silently, whimper in the dark,
cradle your head on the ground..

    an insubstantial mist, no recollection,
of who you were, you are, might be,
and in that void of frustrated emotion
    grows the spreading insanity..

no voice to be heard, no face in the blur,
no knowledge of anything but you.
and you count your breaths, thats all you feel
ghostlike wisps, a sensation, and true,

theres no one there, no living being,
no phantasma, no faerie, no soul
you and and your non existence, in your head
and your mind makes your prison whole..
