I grew up in a house where I was constantly raped and cut by both parents. I continued to cut when I lef home, it is a coping thing with me, at least that way I feel something and it helps to block the memory of the numerous rapes. Its hard to keep going, but I am doing my best.

Pammy I'm sorry you've been through this. I know you;ve just moved over here, but have you been to a RCC? Your in Galway arent you? heres a link to their site http://www.galwayrcc.org/ just because its in the past doesnt mean you cant get help for it, and these people specialise in cases like this, they will be able to offer you support for it

Pammy - of course it hurts so much.... and physical pain seems to help but ultimately you are the one bleeding... and the emotional pain is still there

So hard to keep going when the past keeps intruding. Take care of yourself and get help... things can get better

Know that there are many who will care if you let them - keep posting - it has gotten me through alot of stuff, maybe it will be helpful to you too.
