    so heres the thing ok?
A LOT of ppl have been telling me that I have an eating disorder.
Those who don't tell me that I do, ask me if I have one or tell me I have Anorexic tendencies....or tell me I'm a border line.
I don't think I'm anorexic though, I mean, I'm not THAT educated about it, but I eat, so that means I'm not right?
And its not even like, I'm skinny.......seriously, when ppl think of the definition of fat, they probably have a picture of me.....
I mean, I'm on a diet, and I use Hydroxycut,(a diet pill, makes yu thinner faster i thnk)
    but.........................I don't think im anorexic.
But, everybody keeps saying these things to me!
How am i suppose to know if they are right or not?
Cuz, it is starting to confuse me.
they say i am not fat, and that i have an eating disorder or am a borderline.
i think i AM fat, and im just on a diet............till i get skinny
how do i know who is right? :(
i mean, i think ill need to start saying more to them than just "shut up, go away" ya know?
like, i know this isnt an information R us forum or anything, but i saw the ttle eating disorders, and i thought maybe.......i dunno....
Im sorry i wasted your time...........................i should not have wrote this
    it was stupid i know
    I am sorry

 go see your doctor. they can tell you if your behaviour is healthy or not
  3. Hey Sweetheart,
I'm new here, so I don't know you that well. I think it's important you see a doctor. I guess reading your message I got the sense that you don't feel like you're thin enough to have an eating disorder. That's not true. I'm high/healthy/sometimes overweight bracket and I nearly died from anorexia/bulimia last year. It was terrifying. Just because you're not the stereotype of emaciation doesn't mean that you're not ill.

    Please seek help.

If you feel like you are overweight and try to lose weight because you can pinch a small amount of fat somewhere on your body despite being able to see your ribs protruding when standing you are anorexic. If you are uncertain see a doctor or health specialist. Just eating itself doesn't mean you aren't if your body requires 2000 calories and you are only eating 500 a day not only will you lose weight but you are starving yourself and body functions will start shutting down.

Hydroxycut and similar products work by forcing the body to work or burn calories by pushing water out from the cell walls which you need to remove by sweating or urinating and since fat is mostly water this makes the fat cells smaller and burn faster providing less energy per cell which causes you to lose weight. These products require you to drink plenty of water to maintain muscle cells though otherwise your body will react as if it is starving and start shutting down functions causing a loss in energy levels.

Have a health professional do a body fat index on you if you are under 5%male 7.5% female body fat then you are underweight.
Here is how to figure out how many calories you need to consume a day to maintain weight.

    655 + (4.3 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)

    66 + (6.3 x weight in pounds) + (12.9 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)

Please note that this formula applies only to adults.

    Calculate Activity
Step two: In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:

    * If you are sedentary : BMR x 20 percent

    * If you are lightly active: BMR x 30 percent

    * If you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 40 percent

    * If you are very active (You exercise intensely on a daily basis or for prolonged periods.): BMR x 50 percent

    * If you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 60 percent

Add this number to your BMR.

The result of this formula will be the number of calories you can eat every day and maintain your current weightt. In order to lose weight, you'll need to take in fewer calories than this result.
