I wrote this a week or so ago, enjoy :)

She mourns the days passing in lament
as leaves of her love fell down in autumns torment
Weeping until the embrace of dawn carried her away
In the gloom of dreamland her love would not stray
dreams of long lost days warm her ice cold heart

    Darkness embraces this widow forevermore
tales of their love now belong in myth and lore

dismay and misery before her eyes unfurled
as in the heart of chaos her love was hurled
never able to forgive this treacherous deed
that saved her life from demise but for the breech
like nails in coffins or the succubus leach.

He saved her life so she would remain to be safe
unbeknownst to him death would cause darkness to strafe

Her life forevermore shackled in despair and discontent
Iron chains that hold the remnants of her soul in malcontent
longing for what will nevermore come to be
loss has driven her past the brink of endless insanity
within the embrace of insanity, forever to be.

Years of solitude and endless sadness has taken their toll
as the walls within her mind sway and begin to crumble

As she lay on her deathbed alone and frail
lingering traces of her happiness leave a trail
with tears streaking down her face she admits defeat
the loss of her dearest she could not beat
as the defenses she raised slowly go into retreat

Death embraced her like a cold and bitter kiss
in deaths gaze she found eternal bliss.

P.S. If someone could suggest a title that suites I would be very gratefull :)
