Its dark outside and the only light is what shines through my souls window
    Im sitting
    Spitting
Verbally eyeing while the political rats keep gnawing
    Prying
And as each candle cancels its wick
I sit and spit and sit and pick
    Wondering what Im doing
Ironical acid slugishly drips while the vermin keep on chewing
I sit so still but inside pitch this fit thats long been brewing
Wondering what it was I cost and why I keep on looseing
Shoulders hunched I brace for the hit
The blows I know Im throwing
I feel my consience slow as the drawl of the loneliest hollywood cowboy
I muster all the courage I can in vain to only employ
    Stale
    Forgotten
    Saltine dreams
The best intentions that burst my seams
    What was the purpose?
    What does it mean?
    A rock shatters the window

I say again... Damn, you're good!!!   Your poetry is consistently beyond my seemingly limited knowledge of the right adjectives to describe how your writing makes me feel. I shiver deep down to recognize some familiar feelings and to realize also that despite (or maybe because of) your illness, you have such a gift. I pray that you do yourself no harm. You are lovely and I'm privileged to be your friend.

    love and hugs and accolades,
