Instead of doing my essay at school, I bludged and wrote... well technically I didnt really bluge; I was still working, and writing, just not the essay...

    Perfect body
    Perfect soul
    Aim for perfection
    So we’ve been told
    Skin and bone
    Blonde and tall
    But yet again
    You’ need to be small
    Size eight or ten
    We’re meant to aim for
    So that’s too bad
If you’re too big, or small
    Gosh what an eyesore
    To have body hair galore
    Or cellulite
    Which is commonsight
    For normal people anyhow
    But never allowed
    In those magazines
    Photoshopped to perfection
    By the graphics team
Sometimes I wonder if they're blind
Or never go out and look at real women
    Real women eat
    And yet they still say
    Eat less
    Exercise more
    Rabbit food
    Veggies and more
    They’re pretty shallow
    I think
    To not realise
    That real beauty
    Lies within
  2. "Bludge"?! Skip, Jewk, Avoid, Abscond from - miss on purpose? Funny how many words there are for 'staying away'/ I'd say your time was well wasted (used).

Your words are all too true and you have a keen sense of observation - of the distortion of 'views of perfection'. I applaud it, and your words
