is it just me or does anyone else feel like when the depression gets "heavy," its like theres a black hole in their chest. its like this void and it just keeps getting bigger.

I thinks it's interesting in an odd way to hear how others interpret the pain involved with their depression.
For me I imagine my core or, to be cheesy about it, my soul being choked and crushed by some unnamed force in my chest. Weird I know, but that's how I've come to view it- =/

It can tend to feel a bit like a black hole at times though. I certainly understand what you mean anyways-

when i get really depressed sat here at the computer i feel my body shaking a little, like involuntary spazms. I cant explain the feeling in my head.. just empty, numb to the world. have you seen american psycho where he says he 'is just not there'. thats how i am, the person inside me no longer exists.

I know what you mean actually, I get a similar feeling but it's in my stomach.
I never really thought about it before.
