It should have happened way back when
The ringing of shots over and again

On darkened street, wet with rain
A falling man, too fast for pain

From high on top of abandoned building
    Yet again leaving fatherless children

    Slipping silently through barbed wire
Explosions causing a rain of fire

    Falling silently through night sky
He too asleep to be scared to die

    The watchful eyes ready, prepared
    Shooting started, them dying scared

Years was known as Bad Karma
I accept it back without drama

    Lived life where death followed
The rest has been time borrowed

I am waiting now with mind very clear
For the sound of Taps that I won't hear
