i do understand how you feel @Mvanessa i really do. i have to fight chronic leg and lower back pain, severe copd, insulin dependant diabetes, major depressive disorder, severe anxiety and other lesser issues. there are times i feel just like you. i want to give up and i want to die. i know things won't improve as i age.

but on the other hand when i can fight i can find a quality of life. i still have those issues but i also find some joy and satisfaction. if you can hold on and try to get better even a little bit then you can move forward also. i don't blame you for giving up because i know how you feel but i hope you can try to move forward in the future...mike...*console*sadhug*shake

Thank you. Called my therapist after hours. So many do not understand the toll of chronic illness and pain.

i'm so sorry that you have to go through this. like i said i get it. if you're like me there isn't much hope of getting better physically. if i lower my pain by one point i'm happier than a clam. i'm not always positive. sometimes it all overwhelms me. it's normal for a person suffering chronic pain and illness to be majorly depressed. the only way to survive is look for anything positive to offset the pain. if you ever want to talk to someone that truly understands feel free to use my inbox anytime...mike...*hug*shake

I took a weekend trip much needed but back to depression caused by a scare Sunday night and my mom
Hi @Mvanessa I know you struggle a lot and its very hard on you, how did you feel whilst you were on the weekend trip? Some relief from the bad thoughts? I think you should plan a new trip, it would be something to look forward to and enjoy when you go if its at all possible. *hug Sorry you are back to feeling depressed, remember, it usually passes.
