Just wrote this and thought I'd post it, it didn't start out as a poem

This was, all that there is...
    one word to another,
    Untill no words could explain.

A lonely boy in the courtard,
    by the science block,
wondering why no-one spoke to him.

    He didn't know then,
    He doesn't know now.
    He just hates, hates, hates.

A hook of sorrow, already there,
    but that was not enough.
as all around was out of reach,
    invaders of his shortcomings,
perhaps the victims of their own ignorance.
More likely the empire, for whom life wasn't enough,
which doesn't exist, but unto those who need one
    probably no-one does
we might all be true, and its was me
thiking I'm someone else or something
someone who I wanted to be.
    Yeah, they were really good.

This is who i am, but no,
he searches.... a riddle from the bitter sticks,
    reminders of an unnocupied home
    caustic, distant.
it was never meant to be.
he left that boy, why? why me?

    this is what Stuff does
forgetting who he was was so much fun
but does he return, brutalised, by what he wanted to do to himself
there's nothing more depressing, than wasted brain tissue
and the realisation, that there was absolutely no need for any of it
a wasted life, a wasted journey,
what Lurks on earth to make someone do this
    this was all there is...
