Ways to cure sore throat, congestion?

Since November, I've been having off and on congested nose and gets troubling to breathe. I already have a deviated septum, which means most of one nostril is blocked, so I can't breathe much. So whenever I get congestion, nose backed up, becomes very uncomfortable for me.

Any good ways to get rid of that recurring pesky mucus once and for all?

I also just got a sore throat, how can I get rid of it ASAP? Thanks.

You could try gargling warm salt water for the sore throat. But be sure not to swallow!!

LOL, I do that and it keeps coming back. I just ate some spicy food and that helps, guess I should do that to loosen up the mucus.

For running nose...eat spicy chicken soup. No more nose blocks.

Strepsils. I know some people don't like em, but i swear by them!
