What are "Google Spiders" and "Yahoo Slurp Spiders?"

    Trivial question I know, but on the upside I only have to ask it once. :)

    Seriously I'm not as internet savvy as some so maybe I'm being naive. But I always see them browsing the site in the who's online section.

    What's up with that?

    They are are part of the google and yahoo search engine.
    They look on the internet at websites and forums and stores the information so that the search engine can find it.
